Hi Dear Friends!
Wow, it is already December! Less than a month until 2013! What a year it has been.
I thought it was time to kick off the Christmas season with a little tea for you and me.
I set an extra spot for you to join me.
I thought these simple and pretty holly berry cups and plates were a nice way to bring in the season.
Who is that peeking around at us?
Old St. Nick wouldn’t be left out of our first Christmas tea!
And I just had to bake a batch of my ooey gooey fresh peppermint walnut brownies for you! The are infused with freshly ground peppermint. And yes, if you couldn’t tell, I am all about the fudgy frosting!
Thank you for joining me for a cup of tea and a little calorie filled treat! I hope you enjoyed your visit.
And just in case you thought otherwise, everything with the exception of the silverware (wedding gift) was thrifted on this table. But, you already knew that didn’t you?
I am joining these lovely hostesses for their parties:

ReplyDeleteI am a new reader/follower, (don't remember how I got here, lol). I have read a number of your past posts, and I am so sorry you are having such heartbreak in your life. I am keeping you, Don, and Lea in my prayers. Hope she is home with you very soon.
Thank you so much for the tea, Diann, and the brownie? Yum! It was delicious, even though it was through the computer. Have a nice Sunday. Susan

ReplyDeleteVery pretty. Brownies and rich dark coffee would be such a treat. I am not much of a tea fan. Peppermint and chocolate are made for each other.
ReplyDeleteHi Diann, what happened to my comment from Sunday night? , perhaps it went into your spam folder.
