Hi everyone!
Oh great Diann is bringing up Christmas and we aren’t even out of August yet! That’s what you were thinking huh? That’s okay. I just wanted to share a freebie Christmas tray I recently got.
This heavy tray is made of the tiles. I think it will be so pretty at Christmas for taking coffee/tea/snacks into the living room when guests stop by.
Yup, the tray was free. My nephew called me one day and told me his best friends parents were having a yard sale because they are moving. Well, when I got the princess ready to head over there, it started pouring rain and Zack called me back and said they were closing up the yard sale but, they told him to tell me to come over the next day and gather up whatever I wanted for free. Woohoo!
These folks used to own a floral shop so, she had quite a bit of things from that shop plus lots of other things. Yes, I found a lot of treasures. And this tray was one of them. Lots of fun things to share with you in upcoming posts. One of the things I snagged was an entire barrel of brand new, with tags still on, faux greenery. I don’t think I will have to buy any greenery for arrangements, wreaths or other floral projects for years!
Okay, you all may resume your Back to School thoughts now and forget I mentioned Christmas!
Remember, this Saturday is this month’s Thrifty Tablescape Party! I hope you join the fun. It’s all about inexpensive thrifty tablescapes!

Can't go there yet...especially in this heat. Not sure if it's the same in your area but most of the craft stores here have had Christmas up almost a month. :-( Toooooo early...before school starts, fall decor, Halloween, etc. Oh well, they didn't ask me did they?
ReplyDeleteTake care ~

ReplyDeleteBeautiful tray! I have one that has hydrangeas on it, a gift.
ReplyDeleteYes, too early for Cmas or FALL> It is still summer till the calendar says it's Fall! :)
Oh my-I don't want to think about Christmas yet-too much work to do working in retail-but I used to have fun doing all that! Fun stuff!
ReplyDeleteA free tray? Well, all the more reason to celebrate The Day (when it finally comes!).
ReplyDeleteFEELING RED
I am feeling red today—
Better that than blue, they say.
Red is such a cheery shade,
Sweetest color ever made,
Brightens everything you do—
Better red, they say, than blue!
